I’ve teamed up with Ann Tutt, Annie Sloan’s textile designer, to bring our second Modern Embroidery Workshop to Oxford! We’ll show you a variety of stitches so you can create your own abstract wall hanging, or bring along a piece of clothing, or a tote bag, that you would like to personalise. We will be teaching you a range of stitches including satin stitch, split stitch, back stitch, chain stitch and super cute french knots.
You will be able to choose from a rainbow of colourful acrylic yarns, and we’ll talk you through some design ideas to give inspiration and get you in your creative flow!
The evening will be held in the ground floor front room at Turl Street Kitchen, 16-17 Turl St, Oxford, OX1 3DH, from 7 pm – 9 pm on Tuesday 17th April.
Embroidery floss, hoops, needles, scissors and material are provided, but please do bring along any other pieces you would like to embroider.
Suitable for beginners or those wanting to get back into embroidery.
Drinks and food will be available to purchase from the bar.
